We started the walks in Spring which are ideal as the weather brightens up and adds a literal spring in our steps!

We have visited local amenities, such as, the Fourteen Locks. The Fourteen Locks has a vibrancy with lots of greenery, blue skies and the serene sound of the water running… We even met an unexpected visitor who greeted us… a chestnut coloured horse!The Heritage Walks we have organised are refreshing to say the least! We started the walks in Spring which are ideal as the weather brightens up and adds a literal spring in our steps!

Did you know this is one of the most significant series of locks IN THE COUNTRY?!… A historical landmark at Newport’s doorstep!

We have also visited the Roman Remains and were given a tour of the ruins telling us about the history behind the forts and amphitheatre. It was a lovely walk full of cultural references which everyone enjoyed immensely!
