YMCO Newport is a community group with an Islamic ethos, with charity as one of the attributes of the faith. We believe helping the vulnerable and less fortunate is our duty of care. When possible, we get involved with campaigns, emergency relief aid and food aid.

We need your help to open the community centre which will have multiple uses and be open for the whole Muslim community in Newport, especially our children and young people.

Shoebox 4 Syria aim to help the people of Syria, which started during Ramadan when brothers from the Islam hounslow dawah team were part of UK’s largest convoy to deliver aid to the people of Syria.

We have previously arranged a clothes collection, with the donated items being taken to Manchester and the shipped to Syria.

We aim to collect food which can be donated to local organisations which help the vulnerable and also provide food aid internationally.
