Family Fun Day is a community event open to be enjoyed by all! People from all walks of life attended to take part on the day too.
Children enjoyed playing the tin knockout and bouncy castle, (especially throwing wet sponges at the local community officers!)
Whilst the children were having their faces painted, the adults browsed and shopped for clothes and art pieces. There was an amazing variety of dishes… burgers, biryani, chips… snacks ranging from chicken wings to samosas to pani puri! And desserts, from iced cakes, and mousses to cake pops and brownies!!
What truly made the day outstanding was the community coming together, for one cause, to show unity and be connected.
Ramadan Neighbour Iftaar Packs were made and delivered to help spread the understanding of Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims. It helped initiate conversation between neighbours, co-workers and those more distant to new friendships and mutual respect.
