Alhamdulillah What an incredible response from the Newport community!!
In just one week of organising and one single hour of drop off, the collection for Gaza Winter Aid Appeal was a great success.
This shows that when the people of Newport want to do something, they come together and make it happen especially for such a worthy and urgent cause.
The generosity, care and thought put into the donations was overwhelming. Every item represents dignity and compassion. 40 minutes into the drop off we stopped counting at 301 bags of donations as they kept coming in allahumma barik.
Next steps include :
– Sorting through the donations and organising them
– Getting it ready for pickup from Newport to Bristol on 27th Dec
Well done to our AMAZING community. May it be accepted from everyone who gave, helped, shared and supported. Ameen

A wonderful workshop yesterday exploring the art of silk painting.

At the Rahm Within session, we focused on simple nourishment and wellbeing.
The group had lemon, ginger and honey tea and had a stew soup made by Ruba served with tiger loaf. Together, we considered the ingredients and created recipe cards to take home as part of our ongoing focus on healthy, womb friendly food.
