A huge thank you to a very kind supporter who helped us source pizza boxes, adding a really special touch to the session and making it even more exciting for families to take their pizzas home in, it was very much appreciated
Sessions like this show exactly why cookalongs work. Families cooking together, trying new things, building skills and creating positive memories around food
We loved seeing the pride on everyone’s faces as they carried their pizzas home, and we can’t wait for the next cookalong!
This week at Gupshup Ladies we enjoyed lego flower block building. A hands on activity that encouraged everyone to get creative and try something different. Each person designed their own flower, building and following step by step instructions. It was a great way to stay focused, use our hands and enjoy making something from scratch….
We hosted a workshop where YMCO groups came together to design and paint silk flags thinking about the future of Maindee by adding their personal perspective to the designs. Those flags were then carried through the streets as part of the local parade at Maindee Festival, with some of the women who made them, joining…
