The Connecting Voices Together team delivered another meaningful showcase this time visiting Gwent Police during Interfaith Week.
During our visit:
We met with the Gwent Police team and had a tour of headquarters
we shared insights from the Connecting Voices book
Narrated an activist story and the impact of authority brutality that has long lasting effects and shared the story of J. Begum and her challenges she encountered
Staff took part in activities, exploring photos, reflecting on prompts
We rounded off by answering questions together, sharing examples and understanding through open discussion

Some of our team had the pleasure of attending WCVA CGGC gofod3, the largest voluntary sector event of its kind in Wales. It was a fantastic day filled with speakers, workshops and great opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the sector.
