This week the Gupshup Ladies Group had a wonderful catch up after our break, reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming new ones.
Today we made earrings from scratch, some are keeping theirs, while others plan to gift them to loved ones. It was a lovely creative activity that encouraged teamwork and refining their fine motor skills.
We also enjoyed a riddle game in the groups mother tongue and community language, celebrating language and cultural connection.
It was great to have the ESOL ladies from upstairs join us to find out more about the group, and we look forward to inviting them to future workshops and projects.
We are settling into our new venue and already enjoying the warm, welcoming atmosphere it provides.

We hosted a workshop where YMCO groups came together to design and paint silk flags thinking about the future of Maindee by adding their personal perspective to the designs.
