A space filled with creativity and sharing centred around supporting parents of ALN/Autistic children and celebrating our children for who they are.
We talked about autism, disability and the stigma around it and the language and labelling used.
Alongside this, our canvas painting activity allowed parents to express emotions around connection with their child and identity. We appreciate those who joined us and will continue to support each other. These conversations matter, and together we continue to challenge stigma with understanding and compassion

The group engaged in hands on learning, explored creative techniques and collaborated to produce stunning silk artworks enriched with symbols from their faith and heritage Workshops like these offer artistic skill and a space for wellbeing, connection and cultural expression. A small group at the U11 Boys Sports Skills where we played fun games around coordination, communication and teamwork! The boys did great adapting on the day from our original plans – we are so proud of them becoming conscientious individuals allahumma barik! Well done! Dragons Community
Everyone enjoyed delicious shemai, refreshing fruit and fresh bakes prepared by our amazing ladies and the wonderful Kathy. We had some fun with plant identification games, followed by a short walk to the woodland park, where things got lively with a game of rounders!
