We were thrilled to bring Connecting Voices Together showcase to Kidcare4u using real stories and lived experiences to build understanding, empathy and community connection.
Over the session, we:
Shared powerful stories from the Connecting Voices book
Reflected on themes of belonging, identity, and understanding
Created space for open dialogue and genuine connection
Through discussion, photo analysis, and storytelling, we saw real empathy and insight growing among the group, a reminder of how strong our communities can be when we listen to one another.
A huge thank you to KidCare4U Year 10 & 11 young people who took part so thoughtfully.
Special appreciation to Moshin, our guest storyteller, who did a reading and shared his experience as a youth worker with the group. We also shared a powerful story of an asylum seeker, the honesty and courage of this narration made an impact.
Connecting Voices Together — creating space for learning, reflection and connection, one voice at a time.
