Todays Chai & Chat Parents Carer wellbeing group for ALN/Autistic Children
Todays Chai & Chat Parents Carer wellbeing group for ALN/Autistic Children, co hosted by YMCO and Autism’s Hidden Voices, was a meaningful opportunity to bring families together in a supportive environment.
The group enjoyed breakfast from Mamus Chai while engaging in open and honest conversations. Everyone was encouraged to share dialogue, share experiences, discuss challenges and connect with others who truly understand their journey.
We would like to give thanks to Fehmida from Autism’s Hidden Voices for her collaboration and support in making this session a success, providing the much needed information to the group as well as her knowledge and expertise around ALN and ASD.
The most special thanks goes to the parents and children who attended and engaged so openly. Your honesty, warmth and support for one another created a fantastic group atmosphere. We are truly grateful for your contributions.
We have received excellent suggestions on how future sessions could be shaped, and we will be taking these on board to ensure upcoming events continue to meet the needs of families in the most supportive and effective way.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed. We remain committed to creating safe, understanding spaces where parents feel heard, supported and empowered. We look forward to welcoming you to future sessions.
