At our Refugee Week stall, we connected with others working in the sector, sharing passionate conversations, insights and learning. It was a valuable space to reflect and plan our next steps in supporting asylum seekers and refugees together as a multi agency approach. Seeing team members across different projects come together for one cause was inspiring alhamdulilah.
We held two powerful readings from
Connecting Voices which truly highlighted the impact of the stories and reminded us all how important this work is. This book shows what’s possible when you place the community at the heart of a project – the goodness is ongoing and its strength only grows with time, masha Allah tabarak Allah.
Knowing that this book will continue to make a meaningful, lasting impact is something we’re incredibly proud of and as always to our storytellers for coming forward with their experiences.

Todays Chai & Chat Parents Carer wellbeing group for ALN/Autistic Children, co hosted by YMCO and Autism’s Hidden Voices, was a meaningful opportunity to bring families together in a supportive environment.
