π» We had a lovely and meaningful morning spent together π
A space filled with creativity and sharing centred around supporting parents of ALN/Autistic children and celebrating our children for who they are.
We talked about autism, disability and the stigma around it and the language and labelling used.
Alongside this, our canvas painting activity allowed parents to express emotions around connection with their child and identity. We appreciate those who joined us and will continue to support each other. These conversations matter, and together we continue to challenge stigma with understanding and compassion
We look fwd to @autismshiddenvoices joining us next session and building on these themes.
